Cheese really is the glue that holds life together, and whilst we’re well accustomed to eating this glorious dairy product, have you ever considered having your hand at making it? The time is nigh, as foodie hub Tramsheds gets ready to host Omnom Cheese, a series of interactive cheese making workshops.
Running from July through to November, get ready to immerse yourself in the art of cheese making, whilst enjoying plenty of freshly made cheese with a glass of bubbles or brew.

Be sure to clear the diary, with two Omnom Cheese classes running each month, consisting of Bubbles/Brew, Burrata and Bocconcini and Mediterranean Cheese Making. The best part is that it doesn’t matter if you’re a complete novice or experienced home-cook,  Omnom Cheese classes welcome all!

When it comes to the Bubbles/Brew, Burrata & Bocconcini masterclass, get ready for an 80 minute hands on tutorial. Coming in at $75, it includes plenty of bubbles, cheese making theory and demonstrations. This is followed by making a whopping 1/2 kilo of both burrata and bocconcini that you get to take home, plus recipe cards and 20% off DIY Cheese Making kits.

If Mediterranean Cheese Making is more to your taste, punters can expect a 180 minute class. At $89pp, you’ll be treated to a comprehensive demonstration of how to make feta, halloumi and chevre with hands-on experience. Having no doubt worked up an appetite, you’ll then be treated to a light lunch showcasing the cheeses created, teamed with wine.
Omnom Cheese is owned and run by passionate foodie and qualified nutritionist Marly, who has customisedgular kitchen equipment.
